Exploring the foundation and communication skills needed for a healthy and life-giving relationship

Handling relational needs and difficult emotions

Resolving hurts through trust, openness and forgiveness

Session 4

The Family Tree: what we’ve brought into marriage that we need to resolve, heal and leave behind

Session 5

Breaking free from ‘marital games’ and thinking habits that hinder intimacy

Session 6

The gift of Sex and Sexuality: a powerful gift of communication

Session 7

Living Life in a Christian Marriage: The main ingredients for developing a growing and healthy marriage; how we stay connected and use intimacy disciplines to deepen love and unity

Programme for the session?

Each session will include a presentation by a couple on the topic listed and will allow some time for each attending couple to talk together on the topic and on issues raised.  As each couples privacy is fully respected there is no group discussion.  Individual couples are given time in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss the topics together with some question aids and materials provided to help discussion

What is the cost?

The cost per couple is €70.00, or €10.00 per session.  Cost of the course includes materials, handouts and light refreshments

What does the Course offer?

The course explores ways problems and issues can be dealt with positively and how we can have a healthy marriage.  A good marriage is one where any problem gets sorted.

The course provides a couple with the opportunity to grow in understanding of one another and learn ways of being more life-giving and effective in loving one another.

The course is given by couples to couples, so you benefit from the presenting couples’ sharing of their own experiences of marriage

This course also explores the meaning and potential of living a truly Christian marriage and of being an effective sign of God’s love for our families and the world around us.
